Kate McLaughlin is running for Montana Representative House District 9 because politics doesn't have to divide us- it can unite us, with honesty, accountability and a spirit of service.

Raised in rural town, with 8 siblings, Kate learned early what it means to stretch a dollar, care for family, be a part of a community and do the work required even when you face resistance.

Kate has lived here for 25 years. She first moved to Montana in 2001 and lived in a remote off grid log cabin. She is a wife and the mother of three sons. Kate spent years in service work—jobs that required resilience, empathy, and grit—before building a small business with her husband .

Kate is willing and ready to serve and represent the people of HD9.
